What is RightStart?
RightStart is the savings account for you if you are 19 years and under. It's only available at our bank. We calculate interest on minimum monthly balances of $20 or more and pay this into your account on the last day of every month.
What is savings?
Answer: Savings is money you put aside to use in the future.
Why should you save?
Answer: You should save: to get that special item that you need e.g. a book, a pair of shoes etc. to have money at a later date e.g. to buy a birthday gift for Mummy, Daddy, sister, brother, even your best friend.
Why should I save in a Bank?
In a bank, we keep your money safe for you so that no one can access it without your permission. You can get your money easily, wherever you are in the country, especially in case of an emergency. Best of all, you earn interest so that your money grows. Interest is money the bank gives you as a reward for saving your money.
