This year, Sunshine Cereals worked with primary schools across Trinidad and Tobago to give back to children in need. Sunshine Cereals organised a gift drive with chosen schools where each class was asked to donate one gift towards a child this Christmas. These gifts were collected by pennacool.com and distributed by Peter the Polar Bear.

On November 23rd, Sunshine Cereals had a Christmas party for the children at St. Mary's Children's Home, located in Arouca. From the gifts donated, Peter the Polar bear was able to give each child at the home a Christmas present, he was our very own local "Santa Claus". The children at the home were extremely grateful to all the primary schools who participated in this gift drive.

This gift drive was so successful we were able to collect more gifts than the number of children at the home. This surplus of gifts is going to be given to the children in the cancer ward of the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex where we continue to spread the Christmas cheer to children who need it.
