Competition Background

The Flow Creative Writing Competition is back, and it’s more exciting than ever! ✨ From December 2024 to February 2025, we're inviting young writers to dive into a 3-month challenge designed to unlock creativity and inspire storytelling.

Students will have the opportunity to submit up to two story drafts, each with 4 hours to complete. The top 50 essays monthly, will be selected for personalized feedback from an SEA grader, providing valuable insights to sharpen your writing skills. ✍📚

How to Qualify

  • Every month, each student needs to get at least 15 points by doing Standard 4 & 5 Math and Language Arts exercises. Each exercise you pass with 40% or more gives you one point (up to 2 points for each exercise each month). Then, you have qualified to participate in the Flow Creative Writing Competition!!

Story Writing Rules

  • Roll the dice and write a story about the two images shown.
  • Write 4-5 paragraphs about those images.
  • You can try twice to write your essay, with up to 4 hours each time.
  • The top 50 essays with the best quality will get feedback from an SEA grader!
