How to qualify

• To qualify to win a KFC Class Party, students must have the most active KFC Class at the end of each month.

Rules

• Winners will be selected from qualifying classes.
• Teachers must register their class on pennacool.com to qualify.
• Teachers must register their class through ‘whole class registration’ on pennacool.com.
• All students of the class must attend a T&T Ministry of Education certified primary school to qualify.
• The contest begins on January 1st, 2024, and ends on March 31st, 2024.

How points are awarded

• Teachers must assign Infants 1- Standard 5 Workbook Exercises to students each month.
• Students of the class must actively participate in the Infants 1- Standard 5 Workbook Exercises each month.
• Classes must have at least a 50% student participation rate.
• Points will be awarded for each question answered correctly in any Infants 1- Standard 5 Workbook Exercises once an overall grade of 40% or more is achieved.
• Students must click “Submit” at the end of each exercise to add their points to the scoreboard.
• All the points each student of the class earns during the day will show up on the scoreboard at the end of the next day.

How to qualify

• To qualify to win a KFC Gift Card, two (2) students must score the second and third highest points on their essay submission.
• Each student must score at least 15 points on the Standard 4 & 5 Math & Language Arts Exercises each month.

Rules

• Roll the dice and write a story about the two (2) images generated.
• You must write 4 - 5 paragraphs about the two images.
• You have a maximum of two (2) attempts to write your essay.
• You will have four (4) hours for each attempt.
• The top 50 students on the scoreboard with quality submissions will receive feedback from an SEA grader.
• Winners will be selected from qualifying students.
• Qualifying students will be selected based on their quality of submissions.
• All primary school students can participate.
• You must attend a T&T Ministry of Education certified primary school to qualify.
• The contest begins and ends on the first and last day of each month.
• This scoreboard will reset at the end of every month.

How points are awarded

• The top 50 essays will be graded by an S.E.A. grader using the report/narrative writing rubric.
• One point will be awarded for any Standard 4 & 5 Math or Language Arts exercise completed with a grade of 40% and over on the S.E.A. Portal.
• You may attempt the exercises more than once, but a maximum of 2 points will be awarded per exercise per month.
• Students must click “Submit” at the end of each exercise to add their points to the scoreboard.
• All the points you earn during the day will show up on the scoreboard at the end of the next day.

• To qualify to win a KFC Gift Voucher, students must score at least 5 points.

• Winners will be randomly selected from qualifying students.
• You must attend a T&T Ministry of Education certified primary school to qualify.
• Points will be awarded for correct answers in any of the Infants 1- Standard 5 Workbook Exercises.
• The contest begins and ends on the first and last day of each week.
• This scoreboard will reset at the end of every week.
• Your points will reset at the end of every week.
