• Teachers must be registered on pennacool.com and have a whole class registration in order to take part in the competition.
  • To be eligible to win, your class must score at least 3,000 points on the Science and Conservation Challenge activities and have at least a 50% class participation rate.
  • Submit your class Conservation project proposal before the end of the term which contains a short explanation on how you would use the grand cash prize to make your school or classroom more eco-friendly.
  • Points will be awarded for correct answers in the Science and Conservation online videos, quizzes and game challenges.
  • Science and Conservation Challenge activities may be attempted 5 times per month, for points.
  • First Place Grand Prize winners are only allowed to win once.
  • Prizes are only valid for Trinidad and Tobago residents.

About This Challenge

We are pleased to announce the introduction of a Ministry of Education curriculum-aligned, Science and Conservation program on pennacool.com. The program which consists of fun lessons and quizzes for students, will allow teachers and students to fulfil their Science syllabus requirements and at the same time, a chance to win exciting prizes including monthly and termly prizes!

The Science and Conservation Challenge is a collaboration between pennacool.com, bp Trinidad and Tobago, Shell Trinidad and Tobago and the Ministry of Public Utilities.

1st Place:
$6000 towards a Science & Conservation school project
$1000 towards a classroom upgrade
$1500 for class Movietowne tickets

2nd Place:
$4000 towards a Science & Conservation school project
$1000 towards a classroom upgrade
$1500 for class Movietowne tickets

3rd Place:
$2000 towards a Science & Conservation school project
$1000 towards a classroom upgrade

MONTHLY PRIZES:

- Eco Field Trips –  A class will win 1 per month based on most points for that given month. They can only win once for the year.

- Android Tablets – 5 tablets per month based on top scores by individual students
