My name is Mr. Daniel Sydney.
I’m the director of Kip Academy Online Tutors T&T. I was born in South Trinidad.
I came from a single-parent family. I wrote my entrance exam at ten and was very successful. I graduated from high school at sixteen, where I attained passes in General Electronics, Physics, Social Studies, English Language Arts, and Mathematics.
At this time, not financially able to further my education, I went to work in the unified hotel and tourism hospitality field, where I quickly attained the following positions: Supervisor, Assistant Manager, Manager, General Manager, Quality Control Manager, Operations Manager, and Corporate Manager.
I achieved all of this quickly, thanks to the company paying
for me to further my studies. With this skill set, I put in place a
program in which we reached out and helped some of the non-profit
organizations on the island.
When my son failed school against all my better efforts to get him to achieve academically. I left the corporate world and decided to start Kip Academy.
I’m not only the founder but also a parent of the academy.
Kip Academy allows every child the same opportunity to learn regardless of their challenges. Kip Academy works with the dynamics of each parent, and the academy is open 365 days a year, allowing each child to achieve an education at any given time regardless of the day-to-day challenges they face.
My goal is for no child to be left behind. I also wanted the academy to be affordable. Therefore, I set the price at less than what fast food would cost on our island daily.
My name is Mr. Samuel Sydney.
I’m the C.E.O. of Kip Academy Online Tutors T&T. I was born in central Trinidad.
My dad started this for me in primary school when I repeated standard three. The school system was not helping, and my private tutors also were not successful in helping me academically.
My teachers said I would not do well in school. My dad didn’t want to hear this, so he started the academy. In a short time, my teachers began seeing actual results.
I was at the top of my class within a few months. I also won the top prize on pennacool.com, where you must be number one in Trinidad and Tobago Primary Education. With this motivation, I achieved twenty-five certificates in academics at a primary level.
After being successful in my S.E.A. Exam, I was given a scholarship to the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in the United States, where I attained diplomas and certifications in:

Kip Academy is the greatest gift I could receive. I did all this at fourteen when no one believed in me.
My father believed in me to the extent that he left his job to help with my academic studies.
I am therefore committed to taking this gift and sharing it with as many children as possible.
My name is Ms. Stefanie Baptiste.
I’m the preschool teacher for Kip Academy Online Tutors T&T. I was born in central Trinidad.
I’ve taught preschool for over twenty years since my son Samuel, and his dad started Kip Academy. I could not have been happier to see the change in my child’s attitude towards his academic work. I decided to add the preschool section to Kip Academy’s portfolio because of my love for teaching and seeing children grow to their full potential.
At preschool, children build a strong foundation in social, pre-academic, and general life skills.
I believe in Kip Academy for what it has done for my son, and I hope to pass this on to other families.
I was referred to Kip Academy by an old school friend in January of 2020.
My daughter, Maya was not enrolled in any extra lessons at the time and I felt the need for a little additional help alongside her class teacher and myself given the pending exam in June of that year.
This decision was one that I never regretted. Mr. Daniel and his team worked assiduously with Maya given the time frame.
In light of the global pandemic, classes were fully online. This however, did not affect the quality or quantity of output by the school.
They were fully prepared for this learning environment and my daughter settled in quite easily.
The teaching style of the Academy may not be accepted and or appreciated by all parents because of the aggressive approach.
You have to be able to commit to long hours dependent on your child's rate of progress.
The classroom environment is a no nonsense approach however the kids have a lot of fun with their teachers.
There was a good balance of fun and work. Maya would beg to log on to class at times.
The academy teaching style is one that allowed my daughter to express herself and to be able to present problems and their solutions in front of the class.
This was a great accomplishment for her since she was said to be very shy when she first started.
Although Maya's term of enrollment was for just over 5 months, her determination coupled with the Academy's commitment to excellence afforded her alot school of choice- St. Joseph's Convent St Joseph.
I do not hesitate to recommend this school and would like to sincerely thank them for Maya's great success.

KIP Academy has been one of the biggest blessings in my son's life in such a crucial time.
Sir give him that extra push, helping him to get focus, along with the encouragement that was needed to bring out his full potential.

The experience from KIP Academy was great.
When my daughter first joined the class I was a bit concerned about the amount of time she spending in class I even question Mr. Sydney about these hours spent.
My child was also very shy when she first started and eventually she got the courage to ask questions and she was doing very well and I saw a great improvement in her Mathematics. I will just like to say thanks to KIP academy for the patience they had and all the encouragement they give.
